nopla and lost woods.

Our mission is to inspire, educate and empower young people about the environment, pushing the idea that no one is too small to make a difference; aiming to create a legacy for the 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference -which will be hosted in Glasgow-.

Their goal is simple: Connect kids to nature by planting trees.

To achieve this they have started a “School Planting Event” which will take place this autumn, where 151 Glasgow Schools (including ASL Services) will be involved in planting trees all across deforested Glasgow areas.

The Lost Woods have a clear picture of how this will be organised thanks to GCC’s Education Department and partners such as Glasgow City Council, Education Authority and Green Action Trust.

We are delighted to be able to partner with such an amazing charity that entirely aligns with our mission. We have produced a short stop-motion video to showcase the plastic waste problem and deforestation, and how supporting Nopla and The Lost Woods helps eradicate these issues.

As we know, plastic production and deforestation contribute to greenhouse gas emissions (such as CO2). These emissions then accumulate in the atmosphere over time, causing global warming and climate change by trapping additional heat near the Earth’s surface amounting to an increase in temperatures.

To reverse greenhouse gas emissions it is very important to confront these problems by stopping single-use plastic production and helping reforest our planet.

It can seem like a scary and daunting problem to tackle individually, this is why we are determined to guide you by offering plausible solutions like acquiring sustainable Nopla products and turning deforestation around by supporting The Lost Woods’ cause.

If you are determined to make a change, donate now. We are also donating £5 for every purchase of over £50 of any Nopla products to The Lost Woods.
